Application of RTP in bridge suspension cable dehumidification system
Attach RTP pipe along the main suspension cables between the bridge towers to transmit dry air, which is then used to blow away the moisture trapped in the steel wires of the suspension cables and keep the cables dry, and as a result the durability and reliability of the main cables are greatly improved.
The bridges in China that have been using this technology include: Jiangyin Yangtze River Bridge, Yunnan Longjiang Bridge, Maanshan Yangtze River Bridge adn Yichang Yangtze River Bridge.
